He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Walter and Ottilie Walter; his sister Cynthia Limmer; his son Robert; his granddaughter Zoe; and his wife Shirley.
He is survived by: his friend Shirley Martha Marks; his family, Cindy, Lynn, Vilia, Ed, Twyla, Kim, Phil and Lauren; and also, Charles, James, Robert, Claire, Mark, Amy and Paul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
