He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Nero and Vincenzina Nero (Costanzo); and his sisters, Josephine DeGrazia, Mary "Vennie" Cranner and Frances Tomaino.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nero (Schneider); his son Ralph V. Nero (Suzanne Doherty); his grandchildren, Ryan C. Nero and Lauren Hart (Matt); his great grandchild Matthew Nero Hart; his brother-in-law Arnold Tomaino; his daughter-in-law Cindy Clark; and his caregivers, Margarette, Denise, Ashley and Dawn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
