He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Elaine Magnussen; his daughters, Sonja Magnussen of Gainesville, VA, Lara Magnussen Mecca (Mike) of Norwalk, CT and Erika Magnussen Vibbert (Roger) of Redding, CT; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ava Zambrana, Dylan and Derrick Vibbert; and his brother David Magnussen (Nancy).
