It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Maher Ottoshavett of Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Ottoshavett; her parents, Thomas Gentles and Marie Gentles (Nagel); her children, James, Michael, Frederick Jr., Thomas, Cindy and Theresa; her former husband Frederick Maher Sr.; and her siblings, Theresa Sheehan and Thomas Gentles Jr..
She is survived by: her son Anthony Maher (Renate) of Danbury; and her siblings, Lillian Tomanelli (Dominic) of New Fairfield, Florence Rubino of New Fairfield, William Gentles of New Milford and Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Gentile (John) of Danbury. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
