He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Brown and Margaret Brown (Mannion); and his sister Theresa Stoops. He is survived by: his wife Toni; his children, Mark A. Brown Jr., Mindy M. Brown and Marisa A. Brown; his granddaughter Adaline R. Salas; and his sister Diane MacDougall (Donald). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
