He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Frederick Gassner and Helga Evelyn; and his wife Arline Gassner. He is survived by: his sister Paulette Gassner Isaacs of Orlando, FL; his niece Lori H. Isaacs-Hoar (Dennis Hoar) of Windermere, FL; his nephew Brian E. Isaacs (Kate) of Clermont, FL; and his stepmother Sylvia Gassner of Texas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cornell Memorial (247 White St, Danbury, CT 06810).
Memorials may be made to the Pioneer Valley Live Steamers; the Danbury Railroad Museum; or any groups that support US military veterans.
