He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Lyons (Simmons); his parents, Joseph T. Lyons, Sr. and Emily Lyons (Keenan); and his stepgrandson Wyatt Keeley. He is survived by: his children, Michele Alison Lyons (Robert Riley) of New Milford, Stephanie Lyons and Robert A. Lyons (Brenda Mak) of San Jose, CA; his sister Patricia Ann Lyons of Dorchester, MA; his grandchildren, Jessica Carter (Ryan), Amanda Lyons, Jacob Anderson, Samuel Anderson (Brook), Joshua Acuff, Jonah Acuff, Kylie Keeley, Chayce Schultz, Aidan Schultz and Brady Schultz; his great grandchild Keilana Elaine Carter; and his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Keeley and Sarah Keeley.
