It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Arlene Comer of Danbury, Connecticut, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Carmitchel and Charles Carmitchel of Mentor, Ohio.. She is survived by: her husband DeVon Eugene Comer (Gene) of Lenoir City; and her children, Cynthia Haines (Scott) of Tucson, Bonnie Skolfield (Bruce) of Friendsville and Charles Comer (Rebecca) of Almond. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
