We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023, at the age of 94, Joan A. Shaw of Danbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Shaw; her parents, Charles Jelinek and Fern Jelinek (Flood); and her brother Russell Jelinek. She is survived by: her children, Russell Shaw of South Portland, Carolyn Shaw-Rodden (Rick Wawrzoszek) of Saratoga Springs, Elizabeth Shaw of Bethel and Victoria Michalek (Brandon) of Danbury; her grandchildren, Samantha Shaw (Mike Abramov), Lauren Salvato (JD), Christopher Rodden (Amanda Regan), Matthew Rodden, Brendan Belardinelli-Shaw (Laura), Alec Belardinelli (Cristina), Zachary Michalek and Addison Michalek; her great grandchildren, Derrick, Dylan, Emma, Aaron, Aiden, Hayden, Maci, Jax, Brody and Duke; and her brother Charles Jelinek of Adirondack. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
