He is survived by: his spouse Ethel K. Hughes; his children, Edward B. Comer, Jr. (Denise Kurtz) of Brookfield and Carolyn Heigle of New Fairfield; his grandson Edward Adam Heagle; and also Sierra Van Ryzin.
