He was predeceased by: his parents, James McElroy and Mary Ann Mulligan McElroy; and his wife Barbara Ann Gould McElroy. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy McElroy, Marianne McElroy Palladino (Kendall Palladino), Kathleen McElroy Carlson (Don Carlson), John McElroy (Maureen Shanahan McElroy) and Tom McElroy; his grandchildren, John Palladino, Aidan Palladino, Mark Carlson, Gavin Palladino, Brennan Palladino and MaryRose Palladino; and his sister Agnes McElroy Hagan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their children, and grandchildren.
