We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 66, Donald L. Gaita in Danbury, Connecticut, born in Norwalk, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gaita and Anna Marie Gaita; his brothers, Paul and John; and his brothers-in-law, Sal Taliercio and Joseph DeRosa.

He is survived by: his wife Lori; his daughters, Diana Smith (Jay) and Amanda Gaita (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Allison Cowen and Michael Verni; his grandchildren, Mckenah and Gavin Smith; and his siblings, Ann Taliercio, Vincent Gaita (Enza), Mary Ellen Athanasiou (Gus), Vanessa DeRosa and Joseph Gaita (Sally). He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
