She is survived by: her children, Tiberio Moniz (Phyllis), Maria Moniz Gonzalez (James), Lucia Moniz and Paul Moniz (Amanda); her brother João C. Sousa; and her grandchildren, Brianna Moniz, Melinda Cruz, Nathaniel Cruz, Kristin Moniz, Annalise Droz and Justin Gonzalez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
