He was predeceased by: his parents, Jamesetta Scott and Rufas Ward; and his brother Juan Eric Scott (Rufus Ward, Jr.). He is survived by: his daughter Desiree Scott; his granddaughter Eden Walker; his siblings, Wanda Scott of Danbury, CT, Carla Scott of Augusta, GA and Indira Scott of Waterbury, CT; and his nieces and nephews, Keyanda Scott of Danbury, CT, MarRian Scott of Orlando, FL, Miari Scott of Augusta, GA, Iesha Scott of Atlanta, GA and Reginya Greene.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (12 Dr Aaron B Samuels Blvd, Danbury, CT 06810).
