With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Celia Cruz-Young (Danbury, Connecticut), born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2024 at the age of 50. She is survived by: her parents, Leonidas Agusto Paula and Zaida Espinal; her husband James Odell Young; her siblings, Luis Cruz and Sara Paula; and her nieces and nephews, Joshua, Mariah, Kylia, Luis Jr. and Shawn. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and many cousins.
