In loving memory of Brenda Ackell DeWitt of Danbury, Connecticut, who departed this world on September 13, 2024 at the age of 69. Brenda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ackell and Jeanne Ackell (Kane) of Danbury; and her brother Edward D. Ackell. She is survived by: her husband Paul DeWitt; her son Daniel DeWitt; her siblings, Douglas Ackell of Danbury, Kenneth Ackell (Susan) of Brookfield and Marilyn Kasper of Gainesville, GA; her sister-in-law Allison Ackell of Stuart, FL.; and her in-laws, Richard DeWitt, Karen, Tom Klein, Lisa DeWitt and Ed Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Regional Hospice of Danbury.
