He is survived by: his spouse Isaura Alves (Lopes); his parents, Julio Alves and Ludovina Dos Prazeres Soares; his brother Luis Alves (Daniele Viegas Alves); his children, Roberto Alves (Robyn Wicks Alves), Eliana Rosa Contreras (Jonathan Contreras) and Kelly Alves; his grandchildren, Julius Alexander Wicks Alves, Catalina Alessandra Alves, Zayden Aleksander Contreras, Gabriella Sofia Rosa and Davi Rei Contreras; and his nephews, Christopher Mesquita and Kevin Mesquita.
