He was predeceased by: his wife Carlene Ginter (Adams); his parents, Harold Ginter and Doris Ginter (Smith); his son Barry S. Ginter; and his grandson Michael Atwater.
He is survived by: his children, William C. Ginter (Mary-Ellen) of Wallingford and Deborah L. Ginter (Steven Thody) of Middlefield; his close friend Anne Broyles of Cromwell; his stepsons, Morris Blake of Meriden and Michael Blake (Heidi) of Meriden; his brothers, Harold E. Ginter, Jr. of North Haven and David Ginter (Sandra) of North Haven; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Atwater, Kenney Ginter, Julia Stephens, William C. Ginter, II, Brian Ginter and Sammi Geisman-Ginter. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
