She was predeceased by: her husband Donald D. Nyren; her parents, Salvatore Pirruccio and Vincenza Pirruccio (Dolce); her son-in-law Michael Harrington; her great grandchild Aiden; and her siblings, Anne Alfano, Mary Pirruccio, Ellen Smith, Rose Cote, Michael Pirruccio and George Pirruccio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl A. Harrington of South Windsor and Donna Franklin (Thomas) of Cromwell; her sister Lucille A. Pirruccio of South Glastonbury; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Harrington (Maureen), Michelle Fotaras (Nick), Kelly Franklin-Sundholm (Drew) and Rose Franklin; and her great grandchildren, Arianna, Savannah, Connor, Graham and Scarlett.
