It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes Martir-Rivera of Cromwell, Connecticut, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Meliton Martir and Pastora Martir; her sons, Francisco G. Cebollero and Pedro A. Cebollero; and her siblings, Manuel Rivera (Pablo Soto) and Rosa Maria Muniz.
She is survived by: her children, Soledad Cebollero, Susana M. Cebollero (Filomeno) of Rizo, Jose Cebollero, Nancy Tuttle (Glenn), Angel Luis Aponte (Myriam), Nelson Aponte, Magdaline Muniz (Francisco), David Aponte (Norma) and Ida Luz Franco (Fernando Longoria). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
