She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hempel and Ruth Hempel (Graves). She is survived by: her husband F. Van Gorder Parker; her children, Susan G. Parker of St. Johnsbury, VT, Elizabeth Parker Murnaghan (George) of Lexington, MA and Douglas H. Parker (Kimberly) of Bethesda, MD; and her grandchildren, Madeleine, Jackson, Faith Parker, Grace, Luke and James Murnaghan.
Contributions in Lucy's memory may be made to either the First Church in Windsor UCC or Center Church in Hartford.
