He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Tobias and Blanche Tobias (Golab); and his siblings, Joseph, Walter, Steven, Leo, Stanley Tobias, Louise Tobias, Veronica Kubeck, Stella Miazga and Anna Golab.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Tobias (McLean); his sons, Louis Tobias (Mary) of Cromwell and David Tobias (Carol) of Durham; his siblings, Marvin Tobias of Middlefield, Thomas Tobias of Durham, Marcella Leonard of Portland, Theresa Fields of East Hampton, Bernadine Miller of California, Mary Colvin of Arizona and Monica Termine of Middletown; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Kevin, Sarah and Louis D. Along.
