Joyce Ann Owen Obituary
The memory of Joyce Ann Owen of Cromwell, Connecticut, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace A. Bragdon and Christine M. Barile Bragdon. She is survived by: her children, Clinton T. Owen (Laura) of Mashpee, MA and Maureen Owen (Sal Scalora); her grandchildren, Danielle M. Owen of Weymouth, MA, Alexander R. Owen of Winthrop, MA and Rachel E. Owen of Mashpee, MA; her great grandchildren, Sean (S. J.) and Grace; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Scalora (Nichole) and Nikki Scalora of Torrington, CT.; her sister Irene J. Schneider of Brooklyn, CT; her caregiver Kathy; and also, Lucas and Logan of East Hartford, CT. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and her numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (506 Main St, Cromwell, CT 06416). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Connecticut State Veteran's Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
