He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Bednarz (Drezek); his parents, Joseph Bednarz and Mary Bednarz (Gaisor); and his siblings, John, Frank, Walter, Edward Bednarz, Jennie Kendzior, Mary LaMontagne, Elizabeth Pierce, Emily Tobias, Josephine Zions and Alice Sadlowski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Bednarz of Cromwell, Karen Bednarz of Cromwell and Christine McDermott (Thomas) of Cromwell; and his grandsons, David and Benjamin McDermott. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, and nephews.
