It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ackert of Cromwell, Connecticut, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred A. Aubin and Helen Aubin (Rook); her son Merle "Dolph" W. Ackert, III; and her sisters, Pamela Ziemba and Winifred Grover.
She is survived by: her sons, William Russo (Kathy) and Sebastian James Russo (Amy); and her brother William Allair. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; also several niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a children's charity of the donor's choice.
