It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Anderson Sr. of Cromwell, Connecticut, born in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Gillie" E. Anderson, Sr. and Madeline Anderson (Brown); his former wife Josephine Anderson (LoGuidice); and his brothers, Albert Jr., Roland, Gilbert and Kenneth Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Josie; his children, Kristie-Rae Damiane of Cromwell, Karen Pettiford (Michael) of Maryville, TN, Kathleen "Katie" Moran (John) of Cromwell, Karleen Anderson of New York and Donald L. Anderson Jr. (Mercedes) of Costa Rica; his grandchildren, Steven Burnham, Rachel Buonanducci (Glenn), Jamie Burnham (Jeff), Justine Burdick (Jeremie), Alan Anderson, Kayla Zadjura (Zach), Kerri Duque (Juan) and Ashley Pettiford; his great grandchildren, Natalia Sales, Luke Stennett, Cadence Sales, Miles, Evan Burdick, Dominic Anderson, Colton Burnham, Carson Zadjura and Mateo Duque; his sister Madeline McDermott (Anderson); and his sisters-in-law, Haruko Anderson (Nigima) and Shirley (McDermott). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
