She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur E. Hinds and Evelyn Hinds (Burbeck); and her husband Arthur J. Brookes Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Marden (Chip) of West Hartford and Arthur Marden (Kathy) of Hampton; her stepchildren, Debbie Kerfoot (David) of Plainville, Diane Hayes, Michael Soderlund of Somers and Dennis Brookes of Bristol; her sisters, Melvalyn Hinds of Bloomfield and Elizabeth Petrie (Rick) of Florida; her grandchildren, Brittany Landry (Caleb), Andrew Marden, Ralph Marden, Calvin Marden, Emily Kerfoot and Eric Brookes; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Peyton and Mason Landry.
