He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Varricchio and Eleanora Varricchio (Colandro); and his siblings-in-law, Hope Varricchio and Francis Hull. He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony Varricchio of Cromwell, Egino Varricchio (Barbara) of Cromwell and Rosaria Hull of Cromwell; his close friend Helen Kania; and his former wife Renata Varricchio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
