She was predeceased by: her husband George P. Fennelly; her parents, Niels Nielsen and Florence Nielsen (Guile); and her brother Howard F. Nielsen. She is survived by: her children, George B. Fennelly (Mary) of Tolland and Ellen L. Fisk (Neil) of Cromwell; her grandchildren, Neil G. Fisk (Courtney) of Middletown, Eric P. Fisk (Emma) of New Britain, Mindy Fennelly of Brooklyn, Michael Fennelly (Chelsea) of Stafford Springs and Jimmy Fennelly (Kate) of Coventry; and her great grandchildren, Jack Fennelly and Logan Fennelly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
