He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Lee and Judith Ann Simmons (Brown) of Lynchburg; his sister Ronda; his brother-in-law Kevin Gilbert of Fairfax, Virginia; his niece Kendra Bush; and his nephews, Seth Gilbert and Grady Gilbert. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved cats.
