He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth (Mellady); and his siblings, Katherine Wadsworth, John and David. He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Debbie, Joe Farrell, Corey, Mandy, Linda, Peter Peila, Lacy, Roland, Kelly, Emma, Susan Fritz, Kayla, Kyle, Evelyn, Anders (Stromberg), Jakob, Kathy, Grant Bombria, Ashley and Katie; and his nephew Gary. He is also survived by four daughters, eight grandchildren.
