He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Okun and Elizabeth Okun (Barouxis). He is survived by: his wife Gale; his children, Nicolas Okun (Theresa), MarcAnthony Okun (Megan), Sarah Ashman (Alex) and Sabrina Mailhot (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, Catie and Daisy. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pietras Funeral Home (2665 Boston Turnpike, Coventry, CT 06238). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
