He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Prior and Edith Prior (Sargent); and his siblings, Barbara, Ruth, Frank, Doug, David, Bruce, Richard, Judy and George.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria D. Racicot (Eric), Charles H. Prior Jr. and Lora Prior Drew (John); and his granddaughters, Melissa and Paige Racicot of Coventry. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
