He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barbara Newbury of Tolland and Myron Strickland (Shirley) of New Hampshire. He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Strickland and Cynthia Strickland (Newbury); his brother Eric Strickland (Tina); his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Tyler and Britney Strickland of Coventry; his grandfather Robert Newbury of Tolland; and his aunts and uncles, John Strickland (Amie) of New Hampshire, Sandra Wetzler (Dale) of Vernon, Claudia Maulucci (John) of Stafford Springs and Wayne Newbury (Deborah) of Florida. He is also survived by many cousins and second cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that monetary donations be made in memory of Brian to Opportunity Works Connecticut (OWC), 45 W. Main Street, Vernon Rockville, CT 06066.
