He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Nelson and Estelle Nelson (Davis); and his wife Janet Brink. He is survived by: his children, David Nelson of Vernon and Kristen Noyes of Florida; his close friend Nancy Schweitzer of Coventry; and his siblings, Robert Nelson of Ellington, Linda White (Robert) of South Windsor and Janice Palmquist (Timothy Palmquist) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
