He is survived by: his wife Betty Melinosky (Gombotz); his children, David Melinosky and Karen (Kevin Herrick); his grandchildren, Kamryn and Kason Herrick; his brother Dennis (Mariann Melinosky); and his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Melinosky, Carol Hauburger, Helen Burkarth, Frances Dorbuck, Frank, Sandy Gombotz, Sue Gombotz, Carol Kulasenski, Richard Gombotz, Sue McKay, William, Diane Gombotz, Ronald and Debbie Gombotz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (1755 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06053). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery (1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
