Chowanec of Columbia, Connecticut, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter. She is survived by: her niece Donna Kerr (Darren Nosal) of Ellington; her great-nephew Rick Chowanec; and her great-niece Corrine LaChapelle of Ellington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
