It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Wheeler Jr. of Columbia, Connecticut, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell H. Wheeler, Sr. and Margaret Wheeler (Craig); his wife Stephanie (Wilcox); his daughter Peggy Cobb (Jim); his grandchildren, Amy Carlsen (Derek) and David Cobb; his daughter Betsy Carbo (Mark); his grandchildren, Becca McConchie (Steven) and Chelsea Bruff (Mark); his stepson Philip Lewis (Layne); his stepgrandsons, Justin and Ethan; and also Robert of Oviedo, Florida.. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren.
