He was predeceased by: his wife Esther A. Remsen (Gurka); and his parents, Elmer Remsen and Veronica Remsen. He is survived by: his children, Maureen Vernale (John), Dawn Bays (Samuel), Richard Remsen (Lisa) and Colleen Tardif (Keith); his granddaughter Victoria Remsen; his siblings, Elmer Remsen (Muriel), Daniel Remsen and Sherrill Mott; and his friend Mary Willis.
