She was predeceased by: her parents, Janos Simek and Rosalia Simek (Szabados). She is survived by: her children, Maria Austin of Norwich, Michelle Szabo of Columbia, Linda Viveiros (David) of Coventry and Michael Szabo of Columbia; and her sister Julianna Simek of Hungary. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
