It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Koval of Columbia, Connecticut, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michele Mazzola and Virginia Mazzola (Oliva); her husband John Koval; and her siblings, Henry, Mike Mazzola, Mary Mazzola, Ann Albro and Rose Lehndorff.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Koval and Joanne Oliver (Gustavo Sanchez); and her grandchildren, Deena Balogh, Stephanie Balogh, John Balogh IV, Andrew Oliver-Rudis, Amanda and Paula. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
