It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Elizabeth Peters of Columbia, Connecticut, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Viola (Lyman) and Philip Henry Isham; her husband George E. Peters, Sr.; and her siblings, Philip H. Isham (Hank) and Patricia A. Horyczka.
She is survived by: her sons, George E. Peters, Jr. (Janice) of East Providence, RI, Dr. Thomas B. Peters (Sharen) of Mansfield Center, CT and Craig L. Peters (late Joyce) of Columbia, CT.; her grandchildren, Amy Clark (Andrew) of Medford, MA, Justin Peters (Amy Barrett) of Coventry, RI, Jenna Konaktchiev (Stoyan) of Weatogue, CT and Erin Niemczyk (Ryan) of Columbia, CT.; her great grandchildren, Amelia, Eliza Clark, Margot Peters, Jake, Brynne Henderson, Joshua and Benjamin Niemczyk; and her nephew Gary P. Isham of San Antonio, TX.
