We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2022, at the age of 90, George Muckenstrom of Columbia, Connecticut, born in Clinton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Newton (Roy); and his parents, George Muckenstrom and Annie Muckenstrom (Golas). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Muckenstrom (Hewitt); his children, Thomas Matthew Muckenstrom of Dallas and Ellen Felix (Paul Felix) of Marlborough; his brother John Muckenstrom (Judy) of Sterling; and his grandsons, Zachary and Joseph Felix of Billings. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Due to COVID concerns, there will be no calling hours.

“I am so very sorry for the loss of Mr. Muckenstrom. I really liked him! He would always comfort me and encourage me when I would come to visit. He would offer me tea and comforting words. He was a wonderful dad to his children. He also chose a great wife (or did she choose him?) They made a great and loving pair! When I think of him, I smile. I hope the memories help with your loss.”
