Alma Derway Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Derway of Columbia, Connecticut, who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Alois Rudolph Bruech and Louise Sophie Preissner Hart; her son John Derway (Elizabeth); her granddaughters, Amanda and Charlotte; her daughter Virginia Hoffman (Bruce); her granddaughters, Stephanie Szymczak (Gregory) and Rebecca Jolly (Nicholas); her great grandchildren, Genevieve and Annabelle; her granddaughter Pamela Gigle (John); her great grandchildren, Maxwell and Brandt; and her grandchildren, Nancy Tabor (Walter), Gregory Derway, Harriet Derway and Art Padovano.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Windham Theater Guild in Willimantic, CT.
