It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Bernier (Collinsville, Connecticut), born in Newport, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred D. Bernier, Sr. and Barbara Bernier (Eastman). He is survived by: his wife Betty Bernier (Miller); his children, Linda Helferty of Linwood, PA, Karen Kim (Hyunni) of Somers, Sherril Roberts (Ben) of Flowery Branch, GA and James Bernier (Barbara) of Newtown; his niece Barbara Mele; his grandchildren, Janelle Kao, Daniel Helferty and Michael Helferty; and his great grandchildren, Connor Kao, Austin Kao, Emmalyn Kao, MacKenzie Helferty, Jacob Helferty, Hunter Helferty, Caleb Flynn, Kaia Young and Charlotte Wierzbinski.
