He was predeceased by: his mother Patrica Welch (Healey); and his brother Michael R. Welch. He is survived by: his father Richard J. Welch, Sr. (Paula); his brother James J. Welch of Torrington; his nieces, Riley S. of Southington and Peyton A. Welch of Southington; his stepsiblings, Shelley Barber (Steve Deak) of Winsted and Lauren Barber; his nieces, Isabella and Ruby; and his nephew Lucas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
