It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Brookman (Colchester, Connecticut), born in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on March 11, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Raymond E. Brookman, Sr.; and her parent Lauren Copperthite. She is survived by: her parent Lois Copperthite (Arnold); her children, Raymond E. Brookman, Jr. of East Hampton, Allen Brookman, Jerry Brookman, Patti Burdick of East Hampton, Debbie Hartley and Denise Brookman of Florida; and her brother Lauren Copperthite, Jr. of Deep River. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
