It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Elizabeth Strickland of Colchester, Connecticut, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Bryant and Gladys Bryant (Taylor); her husband Arthur Strickland; her children, Donald Strickland, Dorothy A. Burnell and Rose E. LaJoie; and her siblings, Earl Bryant, William Lee, Donald Lee, Mary LaFountain and Madolyn Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Gladys Bryant of Hebron, Mary Adams of Colchester, Arthur Strickland, Jr. of Lebanon and Richard Strickland of Serieville, TN; and her sister Estelle Jones. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
