In the vast expanse of eternity, Peter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Peter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mattras and Eugenia Mattras (Misiaszek); and his brother-in-law James R. Price. He is survived by: his sisters, Joreen Mattras of Preston, Deborah Good (Anthony) of Preston and Nina J. Price of Pinellas Park, Florida; his nephews, Anthony J. Good Jr. (Kaitlyn) of Niantic and Michael J. Good (Victoria Good); and his great-nephew Lucas Good of Greer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Griswold Funeral Home & Crematory (30 N Main St, Jewett City, CT 06351). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pachaug Cemetery (999 Voluntown Rd, Griswold, CT 06351).
Peter's community involvement included regular contributions to the blood drives of the American Red Cross.
