She was predeceased by: her parent John Nelkin; her daughter Kathy Williams; and her siblings, Maxine Snell, Sylvalea Ralph, Helen Brown and Frank Nelkin.
She is survived by: her parent Eleanore Nelkin (Niemi); her child Bob; her spouses, Judy Standish of No and Bill Brainard of Vermont; her grandchildren, Lori Standish, Lynn Mancini, Kate Rogers of Tennessee, Amanda Frencl and Alan Orth; her great grandchildren, Alexa, Devyn, Aubrey, Mallorie, Trey, Lauren and Michael; and her sister Esther Starkweather of Colchester.
